You will be:
- designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines supporting the migration to BigQuery,
- responsible for ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization of data processing workloads,
- delivering production-grade data products that serve reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs,
- collaborating with Analytics Engineers, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful migration and long-term platform sustainability.
Your profile:
- strong Python and SQL skills,
- hands-on experience with Google BigQuery (including optimization and performance tuning),
- experience with building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines,
- experience in processing structured and semi-structured data,
- data modeling and schema design skills,
- experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Composer,
- experience with Git and CI/CD practices,
- experience with dbt,
- data quality, validation, and monitoring experience,
- understanding of cloud-native data architectures,
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
Nice to have:
- experience with migration projects from legacy platforms,
- infrastructure as Code knowledge,
- experience with APIs and external data ingestion,
- knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management ,
- experience with monitoring and observability frameworks
