Senior Data Engineer
Responsibilities
Develop end-to-end functionalities on a cloud-based (AWS) big data platform, focused on data analysis and processing.
Actively participate in discussions regarding the architecture of the functionality, as well as defining the necessary data flows and processes to be created.
Create proof of concepts (PoCs).
Develop production versions, test them, deploy to the cloud across development, quality assurance, and production environments, monitor initial operation, and perform debugging / ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
Document the functionalities developed.
Provide support for data extraction and exploratory data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
5+ years of experience in similar roles
Experience with Python, particularly in data manipulation and processing.
Experience with SQL.
Experience in programming and debugging.
Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Athena, EC2, Glue, CDK / CloudFormation, Step Functions, Batch, Fargate, etc.).
Experience developing applications and/or working in production environments.
Proactivity and initiative.
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
