About the role:
We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys building modern, scalable data solutions and making data more accessible across the business. You'll work with the latest Azure technologies to develop enterprise data pipelines, improve data quality, and partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive real business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain Azure data pipelines and data platforms
- Develop ETL/ELT solutions for large, complex datasets
- Optimise data architecture, performance and scalability
- Support Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and analytics solutions
- Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Improve data quality, governance and security
- Provide production support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
About you:
You'll bring:
- Strong SQL and relational database expertise
- Hands-on Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake experience
- Experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Knowledge of data modelling, data quality and governance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Azure Data Engineer certification (desirable)
