The Senior Designer role is part of our Design job family, which focuses on creating and implementing innovative design solutions that meet the needs of our consumers and clients, specifically within the Healthcare sector.

Job Description:

This role is for a Senior Designer who will contribute to and execute design strategies within the team. They will be responsible for identifying and leading developments of new ideas, techniques, and procedures in the design process. The role requires a focus on one or more healthcare brands or projects with clearly defined objectives. This role reports directly to a Band 5 leader. The Senior Designer will work under limited supervision, following defined precedents and policies, and adhering to relevant industry guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent Design in matrix organizations to influence leadership teams, ensuring designs are on-brand, elevated, and of high quality.

• Lead and oversee multiple initiatives from design strategy to execution, articulating consumer needs and business context within Healthcare.

• Lead design development for innovation launches, key campaigns, and evergreen portfolios.

• Develop consumer-winning concepts across various touchpoints (e.g., packaging, digital, brand identity) in partnership with internal and external teams.

• Understand and translate consumer insights and business needs into appealing, compliant design solutions.

• Produce high-quality static, modular, and motion-based digital assets, ensuring performance readiness and platform relevance.

• Own and drive design priorities of team activities, including work processes, budgets, and stewardship.

• Partner with internal multi-functional teams to manage the end-to-end design process from concept to implementation.

Job Qualifications

• A degree in Design or a related field.

• Proven experience (8-15 years) as a Senior Designer or similar role.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and strategic thinking.

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required; After Effects, Premiere Pro, 3D a plus).

• Strategic and thoughtful in approach to design and branding. Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, especially for local initiatives without existing global architecture.

• Demonstrated ability as an independent leader/thinker, capable of navigating complex projects with autonomy.

• A keen eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and a sophisticated visual design aesthetic.

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines, particularly in a regulated environment.

• Experience leading a team and managing external agency partners.

• Strong project management, communication, and storytelling skills.
