Senior Developer Relations Engineer
You will create and evolve API documentation, build sample applications and demos, produce tutorial videos, maintain developer-facing resources, advocate for developers, and translate community needs into product and documentation insights.
Responsibilities
- Create and evolve developer documentation for APIs
- Design and build sample applications, demos, and tutorial videos
- Improve and maintain developer-facing resources
- Advocate for developers
- Translate developer needs into product and documentation insights
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar roles, or 2+ years in Developer Relations and 3+ years in related technical roles
- Ability to write clear code in at least one backend language and one frontend language
- Experience building sample applications and technical demos
- Experience writing developer documentation
- Ability to learn and explain new technologies and concepts
- Developer empathy
- Ability to leverage generative AI while maintaining content quality
- Familiarity with OpenAPI
- Experience with web or mobile development
- Experience working on B2B APIs
- Experience building developer communities around B2B APIs
- Presentation skills
- Experience creating technical content
