Senior DevOps Consultant with GCP
Type of contract: B2B contract
Salary range: 140-170 PLN/H
What will you do?
You will join a DevOps product team responsible for building, maintaining and improving cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role combines development and operations responsibilities, focusing on automation, CI/CD pipelines and ensuring high availability and resilience of services in a production environment.
Your tasks
- Provide support across the end to end delivery and run lifecycle including development and DevOps activities
- Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps product team
- Support incident identification and resolution for production services
- Ensure resilience, sustainability and recovery objectives for delivered solutions
- Collaborate with IT operations and support teams after go live
- Continuously improve processes, tools and engineering practices
- Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code in cloud environments
Requirements
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform including GKE, Compute, Networking, Storage and PostgreSQL
- Hands on DevOps experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Experience with build tools and code quality tools including Maven and Sonar
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with shell scripting
- Understanding of monitoring tools, log visualization and release management
- Experience working with production live services
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 8 days a month
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or banking environment
- Basic knowledge of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies
- Willingness to learn new technologies related to blockchain
- Experience working with IT operations or support teams
