Senior Dry Bulk Freight & Commodity Analyst
We are seeking a commercially minded and intellectually curious analyst who enjoys challenging conventional thinking, collaborating with brokers and clients, and turning market intelligence into actionable insight.
Responsibilities
- Produce timely analysis of the dry bulk freight, commodity and macroeconomic markets, developing independent market views and commercial insight.
- Work closely with brokers to transform market intelligence into actionable research that supports our Chartering and S&P businesses.
- Present market updates and research to clients, management and other senior industry participants.
- Lead research initiatives, drive the development of the department and mentor junior analysts.
Experience & Attributes
- Strong experience in dry bulk freight and commodity analysis, with sound commercial judgement and the ability to develop independent market views.
- Excellent analytical, written and presentations kills, with confidence engaging clients and senior stakeholders.
- Inquisitive, proactive and collaborative, without standing interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
- Acts with integrity and professionalism, leads by example, and maintains exceptionally high personal standards.
