Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Bluetooth Controller (Low level device drivers)
Responsibilities
Develop and debug low-level wireless software for 802.15.4, Thread and Bluetooth/BLE controllers on embedded silicon.
Develop device drivers, HALs and firmware, including integration with peripherals such as I2C, SPI, UART, PDM and TDM.
Debug complex RF/firmware issues using protocol sniffers, logic analyzers, JTAG, GDB and other hardware debugging tools.
Perform code reviews, optimization, refactoring, bug fixing and develop automated unit, functional and interoperability tests.
Work with validation, system, FAE and product teams to integrate wireless features, troubleshoot customer issues and resolve technical problems.
Requirements
5+ years of low-level embedded software development, preferably working directly with wireless silicon, Bluetooth/BLE Controller or 802.15.4 MAC/PHY software.
Strong experience with Thread, Zigbee or IEEE 802.15.4, including debugging with RF/protocol sniffers and protocol analyzers.
Hands-on experience developing device drivers, HAL/LL firmware and deeply embedded C/C++, with strong GDB, JTAG and hardware debugging skills.
Experience with Zephyr, Git, unit testing/CI and embedded peripheral interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, PDM, TDM, etc.
Strong understanding of wireless/RF performance, power optimization and firmware debugging; Bluetooth/BLE Controller or RF tuning/calibration experience is a strong advantage.
