Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Manager. This role is designed for
a seasoned professional who will lead teams, manage complex environmental
approvals, liaise with regulators, and deliver detailed assessments and
strategic advice for clients in mining, energy and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct
complex environmental assessments, risk analyses, and impact studies
- Provide
expert advice on environmental legislation, compliance, and approval
processes
- Coordinate
and deliver environmental documentation to a high technical standard
- Liaise
with clients, regulators and technical specialists to support project
approvals
- Mentor
and support development of junior consultants and technical staff
- Stay
current with regulatory changes, environmental issues and industry trends
- Oversee
invoicing, project scheduling and resource planning
- Identify
opportunities for service improvement and business development

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree
in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field
- At
least 3 years of relevant work experience in environmental consultancy
- Strong
working knowledge of Commonwealth and state environmental regulations
- Proven
experience preparing and delivering environmental impact assessments
- Experience
with regulators and approvals in mining or infrastructure sectors
preferred
