Your qualifications:
  • Core Competencies:
    • 5+ years of embedded firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers and SoCs
    • 3+ years hands-on experience with Nordic Semiconductor nRF5x/nRF54xx processors (nRF5340, nRF5440 preferred)
    • 2+ years developing BLE mesh or proprietary mesh protocols; deep understanding of BLE Mesh specification and topology management
    • Strong grasp of wireless RF fundamentals: RSSI, path loss, fading, antenna behavior, and triangulation/trilateration mathematics
    • Proficiency with Nordic SDK (NCS – nRF Connect SDK) and FreeRTOS or bare-metal real-time scheduling
    • Experience with low-power design: power modes, clock management, DMA, and ultra-low-power BLE techniques
    • Solid grasp of networking protocols and state machines; ability to design reliable packet formats and error recovery
  • Hardware & Tools Expertise:
    • Expertise with SEGGER tools (J-Link, Ozone debugger, SystemView for RTOS profiling)
    • Proficiency with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF spectrum analyzers (e.g., USRP, NRF Sniffer)
    • Experience with hardware bring-up, PCB schematics review, and UART/SPI/I2C debugging
    • Familiarity with Git, Makefiles, CMake, and build automation

    • Background in signal processing, sensor fusion, or location services (GNSS, UWB, or dead reckoning)
    • Familiarity with Python for embedded testing, firmware validation, or device integration
    • Open-source contributions (Zephyr RTOS, OpenThread, or similar projects)
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks
    • Knowledge of security protocols: TLS/DTLS, X.509 certificates, and secure boot mechanisms
    • Exposure to machine learning for RSSI-based indoor positioning or anomaly detection
    • Leadership experience or track record mentoring junior firmware engineers
