We're hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineer in Germany. You'll be the technical owner for DACH customers end to end. Running the demo, writing the prompts, building the integrations, and driving each project to a live agent in production. This sits closer to sales than to professional services: you're the German-speaking technical counterpart in the room while the customer is still deciding, then the person who makes it real. You'll spend your time in customer environments, in the platform and in code, with real autonomy over your own workload and timelines. Because you're the first, what you build becomes the template for the team that follows.
What You'll Do
Build and ship AI voice agents for DACH enterprise customers. Prompts, conversation flows, edge cases, escalation and recovery logic and iterate them against real call data until they hold up in production.
Write the integration code that makes those agents useful: JavaScript and Python against customer CRMs, contact centre platforms, scheduling tools and internal APIs, so an agent can look things up and act on them mid-call.
Run technical discovery and build customised demos for German enterprise buyers, as the German-speaking technical counterpart alongside our sales team.
Own POCs end to end. Scope them, build them, coordinate engineering and the customer, and drive them to a deployed agent that is live in production.
Handle the telephony side of go-live: SIP connectivity, call routing, transfers and the contact centre configuration needed to bring an agent up.
Turn what works into the DACH playbook. Repeatable demo patterns, compliance approaches, reusable agent components and help us hire the team around it.
What We're Looking For
You've built LLM agents that real users actually touched, and you can point to prompts you wrote that measurably changed how an agent behaved.
You code. Working JavaScript and/or Python, with real experience building and debugging API integrations. You'd rather open an editor than a slide deck.
You're credible in front of enterprise customers — you can run a technical deep dive, take a sceptical question live, and demo without a safety net.
You own ambiguous work from first call to production without a project manager behind you, and you keep everyone informed while you do it.
C1/C2 level German plus English. You're based in Germany and able to be in our Berlin office 3-4 days a week.
You're on a lead track. Already mentoring or leading technical work, and more interested in building a function than filling a seat.
