Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Angular and React Native to design, build, and maintain scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bring advanced knowledge of architecture, DevOps practices, and data management, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.

Note: Hybrid work model in Quito. Availability to attend the office a minimum of three (3) days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Write clean and maintainable code, identifying and correcting technical debt while applying best practices such as refactoring and modularity
• Select and apply appropriate design patterns, justifying their use and promoting best practices
• Design secure and resilient integrations (APIs), manage versions, and apply messaging patterns
• Justify and apply cloud components to design scalable and efficient distributed solutions
• Define and implement effective version control strategies, resolve complex conflicts, and foster collaboration
• Design container-based solutions, optimize images, and manage orchestration and security
• Design and maintain robust automated CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, traceability, and reliable deployments
• Design efficient relational models, optimize queries, and guarantee referential integrity
• Design NoSQL solutions based on use cases, managing performance and consistency
• Validate functionality and reduce code errors through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Monitor systems, identify alerts, and respond to incidents following established protocols
• Design secure solutions by applying security principles, managing confidential information, and complying with regulations such as PCI-DSS and GDPR

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Angular and React Native
• Expertise in design patterns and solution architecture, considering scalability, resilience, security, and quality attributes
• Skills in systems integration, cloud components, and version control strategies
• Background in container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database design
• Familiarity with developer testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Understanding of SRE principles, including system monitoring and incident response
• Competency in secure solution design and compliance with regulations such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
• Advanced communication skills, with the ability to explain technical work clearly to different audiences
• Strong teamwork abilities, collaborating effectively and adapting to different work styles
