Senior Frontend Engineer
You own end-to-end delivery of frontend features, build and extend Vue 3 design system components, integrate REST APIs, instrument frontend work for observability, write and review design documents, support knowledge sharing, ensure quality through testing and peer review, and participate in the development support rota.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of frontend features
- Build and extend Vue 3 design system components
- Integrate REST APIs with serverless and EKS services
- Instrument frontend work in Datadog
- Write and review design documents
- Run knowledge sharing sessions
- Provide feature development updates to stakeholders
- Follow and improve coding standards and development processes
- Test and peer-review frontend work
- Participate in the Commercial development support rota
- Write and maintain clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer
- Expert-level proficiency with Vue 3, Composition API, and TypeScript
- Understanding of modern JavaScript, component-based architecture, and state management
- Experience with modern CSS and SCSS, token-based styling, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience building scalable, high-performance user interfaces
- Experience building or maintaining a shared component library or design system
- Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed backend integration patterns
- Understanding of frontend application security
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience with frontend testing tools and Storybook
