Senior Full Stack AI Engineer New

Our Consulting Engineering team sits at the heart of how Quantium delivers for clients, blending strong engineering fundamentals with applied AI to turn complex problems into production-ready solutions. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for engineers who want to take AI-enabled products from proof of concept to real users, working shoulder to shoulder with clients to reshape how they use data.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to join our Consulting Engineering team in Sydney.

How will you make an impact?

• End-to-end AI delivery: Take AI-enabled solutions from proof of concept through to production, owning outcomes rather than just outputs
• Full stack ownership: Design, build and connect systems across backend, data and frontend, turning complexity into something genuinely usable
• Client-facing problem solving: Break down ambiguous business problems, run workshops, and translate business needs into technical solutions and outcomes
• Fast, independent contribution: Get up to speed quickly and contribute to client engagements with minimal onboarding or hand-holding
• Trade-offs and iteration: Make sound decisions with imperfect information, ship, and iterate based on real-world feedback

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:

• Proven AI delivery: Experience shipping AI-enabled products or features to real users, with a clear view of the impact they had (time saved, revenue, efficiency)
• Strong full stack foundation: Comfortable working across backend services, data flow and frontend interfaces, without needing to be equally expert in all three
• Experience: Approximately 5-8+ years' experience building and shipping real products or systems
• Consulting mindset: Confident working with non-technical stakeholders, explaining solutions clearly and leading technical discussions
• Senior-level autonomy: Able to operate at a high-end senior level, contributing quickly in a fast-moving, client-facing environment
