Full-Stack Engineer

Compensation: USD $8,000–10,000/month

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing AI startup building autonomous AI agents for the hospitality industry.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the full stack while maintaining a strong backend focus. Approximately 70% of the work is backend, with the remaining 30% involving frontend development. You'll work on product features, systems architecture, infrastructure, and production reliability while collaborating with a small, high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship end-to-end product features.
• Develop scalable backend services using TypeScript and Python.
• Contribute to frontend development when needed.
• Participate in systems architecture, infrastructure, deployment, and CI/CD improvements.
• Ensure production reliability through monitoring, debugging, and on-call support.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to improve development velocity.
• Take ownership of technical initiatives from design through production.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and technical decision-making.

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional Full-Stack Software Engineering experience with strong backend expertise.
• Production experience with TypeScript and Python.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality software in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Conversational English with the ability to collaborate in an international team.
• Willingness to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with systems architecture and infrastructure.
• Previous experience at a Y Combinator startup or another high-growth startup.
• Strong experience with production debugging and on-call responsibilities.
• Experience joining small engineering teams and making an immediate impact.
• Experience building scalable SaaS or AI-powered products.
