Senior iOS Engineer
You will take technical ownership of an iOS-based POS product, maintain and evolve the application with Swift and Objective-C, design features and UI improvements, build reusable components, integrate backend services and hardware, improve performance, contribute to CI/CD and automated testing, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the iOS POS application using Swift, Objective-C, and core iOS frameworks
- Design and implement new features and UI/UX improvements
- Lead development of reusable components, libraries, and frameworks
- Integrate the application with backend services, APIs, and POS hardware
- Monitor crash rates and application performance
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and engineers on high-quality releases
- Improve CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and deployment processes
- Mentor junior iOS engineers through code reviews and pair programming
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience focused on iOS
- 5+ years of hands-on Objective-C experience
- Advanced Swift proficiency
- Strong understanding of UIKit and iOS internals
- Experience with multithreading, design patterns, and scalable architecture
- Experience building transactional systems or POS applications
- Familiarity with Flutter
- Familiarity with Firebase, Crashlytics, Fastlane, and GitHub Actions
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
