Senior Java Backend Developer

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Project:

• Develop and modernise Java based microservices and integration components connecting IMSecurities with Nordea systems.
• Support business flow and volume migration, new business logic and rearchitecture in a financial platform.

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support microservices and integrations.
• Analyse requirements, business and system flows, logs and data flows, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Plan deployments and releases, collaborate with developers, analysts, QA and infrastructure teams.
• Work in Agile Scrum with Jira, share knowledge and promote good development practices.

• Hybrid work from Gdynia, Gdańsk or Warszawa, with 2 or 3 days weekly in the office.
• Flexible organisation, international English speaking environment and Scandinavian work life balance.
• Additional training financed by Jit and regular integration meetings.

• At least 10 years of Java backend development in large scale enterprise environments.
• SQL, relational databases and preferably Oracle.
• Messaging and event driven integration, preferably IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Containerized environments and Kubernetes.
• REST services, microservices and integration patterns.
• Maven, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automated testing with JUnit and Testcontainers.
• Requirements, system flow, log, data flow and production issue analysis.
• Fluent English.

• Banking or trading experience.
• Cloud ready application design and experience modernising integration in regulated domains.
• Containerisation around vendor platforms or legacy systems.
• Test automation, static code analysis and AI assisted development tools.
