Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations Lead (Pharma) #HJO

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead technical activities across cross-functional teams to support external Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) supply operations and Contract Manufacturing Organisations.
• Manage API source change activities, supplier qualification projects, and technical transfer initiatives while developing project plans, tracking milestones, and coordinating stakeholders.
• Lead investigations into complex quality, manufacturing, and compliance issues, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Review technical documentation, manufacturing data, specifications, and analytical reports to identify and resolve technical challenges.
• Drive cost improvement initiatives and provide technical expertise to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and supplier capability.
• Evaluate process robustness, perform risk assessments, and support process validation and change management activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support technical transfers, source changes, and project implementation while communicating project risks and progress.
• Assess supplier performance and provide technical feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of API manufacturing, technology transfer, pharmaceutical processes, and technical change management.
• Experience in qualifying API suppliers, managing cross-functional projects, and collaborating with Contract Manufacturing Organisations.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems, manufacturing operations, regulatory requirements, and change control processes.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively across global cross-functional teams.
