Senior Manager - Theming
Job Description
To lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of thematic elements for SEVEN's complexes and attractions, ensuring the alignment of brand identity with visual aesthetics, while managing resources and maintaining high-quality standards, to enhance the guest journey and align with SEVEN's brand vision.
Stakeholders’ Relations
- Act as SEVEN’s representative with local and international ventures and enterprises to establish and maintain good working relationships with the key stakeholders within and outside SEVEN.
Budget
- Comply with the budget approved in his unit to ensure appropriate utilization of SEVEN’s financial resources.
- Supervise the team budget utilization during the year across all related functions to ensure that the spending is in alignment with the submitted and approved budget.
Governance and Resilience
- Monitor the operational activities within the team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Lead the team’s day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with the approved policies and procedures.
People Management
- Provide subordinates with ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure their continuous improvement.
- Conduct the annual appraisal evaluation in compliance with HR policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair evaluation of subordinates’ performance.
Concept Development
- Translate brand identity into coherent thematic concepts to ensure immersive experiences.
- Develop detailed thematic concepts and plans, including visual narratives and storytelling elements, to align with the overall brand vision.
Design and Aesthetics
- Select appropriate design elements, such as color schemes, textures, and materials, to ensure thematic consistency.
- Ensure all visual components align with the overall theme to maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
- Create sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and visual presentations to convey thematic narratives and design intent.
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials to showcase design proposals.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with designers, contractors, and vendors to implement thematic elements across projects.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate thematic elements throughout all areas of the project.
Quality Control
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and consistency of thematic installations.
- Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain high standards.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure that all thematic elements adhere to safety regulations and building codes.
- Oversee the installation process to prevent hazards and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.
- Master’s degree in 3D Animations or Special Effects is preferable.
- Certificates in technical field of construction are preferable (e.g., LEAD).
- 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role with a minimum of 4 years in a management role.
- Relevant experience in real estate development and entertainment theme parks.
