Senior Manager, Total Rewards

Working closely with the Head of Global Total Rewards & Mobility, this role combines end-to-end ownership of key reward processes with the opportunity to influence how GN rewards, recognizes, and supports employees globally. The role will suit an experienced reward professional who enjoys balancing operational excellence with strategic partnership and continuous improvement.
The team you will be part of
The role sits within Total Rewards and Mobility, part of the broader People & Communication organization. It is a small, high-impact specialist team with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The environment offers meaningful ownership, close collaboration across regions and functions, and broad exposure to senior stakeholders globally.
Key responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will own and drive GN’s annual Long-Term Incentive process end to end and act as process owner for the global Merit cycle, ensuring strong governance and smooth execution. The role will manage salary structures and support their continued market competitiveness, continue GN’s work on EU Pay Transparency readiness, and conduct job evaluations using the Mercer IPE methodology to support GN’s global job architecture. It will also act as a trusted Reward Partner to business leaders across a broad range of reward topics and contribute to the continued development of GN’s reward philosophy as the company evolves into a pure-play technology business.

This role calls for a strong reward professional with substantial experience within compensation and total rewards, most likely gained in a larger international or matrix organization. A strong candidate brings a proven track record of managing complex annual reward cycles with precision and sound judgement, combined with the analytical capability to translate market data, regulation, and business needs into practical reward solutions. Confidence in working with senior stakeholders, experience with pay transparency and job architecture, and a proactive and improvement-oriented mindset will all be important for success in the role.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience within compensation, benefits, or total rewards
Experience from a larger international or matrix organization
Solid hands-on experience with merit, bonus, and/or LTI processes
Experience with job evaluation and global job architecture; Mercer IPE is an advantage
Familiarity with EU Pay Transparency requirements and their practical implications
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with reward data
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
