As a Senior Applications Developer you will play a key role in the development, enhancement and support of critical business applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer with strong .NET/Visual Studio and SQL Server expertise and experience working with asset management or works management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of applications, from requirements analysis and system design through to deployment and ongoing enhancement.
Develop, maintain and support web-based applications and relational database solutions, ensuring reliable day-to-day system operations.
Design and implement APIs, system integrations, databases, reporting solutions and infrastructure components to support business requirements.
Perform data modelling, analysis and performance monitoring, identifying system issues and implementing solutions to improve reliability and performance.
Provide technical guidance, documentation and knowledge sharing while supporting team members and driving the adoption of modern technology and development practices.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022/.NET and previous versions, with proven application design and development capability.
Extensive SQL Server 2019 experience, including large datasets, relational databases, data modelling and performance optimisation.
Demonstrated experience developing applications from scratch, including server configuration, deployment and implementation.
Experience with asset management, works management or similar enterprise systems, including application integration and reporting.
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical information, coordinate work and manage multiple priorities.
