Senior Network Engineer

Join a leading private healthcare provider as they build out their national network capability. This is a hands-on engineering role within a Cloud and Platform Networks team, responsible for design, engineering, and operations across Data Centre/Cloud, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, and secure remote access for a large-scale enterprise environment.

The role:
You'll design and implement network solutions that keep critical services running, troubleshoot and resolve incidents end to end, and drive continuous improvement through structured problem management. You'll work closely with business stakeholders on requirements, adopt best-practice security standards, and manage change through a formal CAB process.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years supporting enterprise LANs/WANs, including L2 switching, load balancers, firewalls and wireless (NAC, NMS, WLC, WAP)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Extreme Networks or Fortinet
• Cloud networking exposure across Azure and/or AWS
• Strong protocol knowledge: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN and similar
• ITIL-based service management experience
• Tertiary qualification in a related technical field
• Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, AWS) highly regarded

You'll participate in a 24x7 on-call roster supporting P1/P2 incidents, and be part of a collaborative team that shares knowledge and takes pride in operational excellence.
