Introduction & Summary:
The Senior Network Engineer will provide technical leadership and coordinate a team of Network Engineers in the Campus WiFi product area. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, alongside essential skills in incident management and network optimization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee technical and operational aspects of Campus WiFi.
- Ensure effective management of major incidents and provide 24/7 on-call support.
- Lead the Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.
- Conduct network planning, design, and architecture.
- Implement and document network configurations and maintain quality assurance.
Key Requirements:
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP Wireless (or equivalent).
- Ekahau certification is advantageous.
- Preferred knowledge of ITIL.
- Experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is beneficial.
- Desirable knowledge in Ansible/Python and CheckMK.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in developing network optimization strategies.
