FinXL is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering consulting practice. In this engagement, you will initially be deployed with an Enterprise Banking organisation on a high-profile transformation and network deployment project.
Responsibility
Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco switches, routers, and FTD firewalls.
Perform network migrations, implementations, and setup of new equipment.
Conduct WiFi surveys and deploy Cisco wireless infrastructure across new sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issues.
Review, interpret, and implement minor changes to network architecture designs.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation and technical standards.
Travel occasionally to regional sites and data centres for device racking.
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise network engineering and support.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls (ideally Cisco FTD).
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network security principles.
Valid industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba).
Willingness to travel to customer sites (White Card is highly advantageous).
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
