Summary: The Senior Network Engineer for Load Balancing focuses on providing technical leadership and operational management for network engineering tasks involving F5 BIG-IP technologies, ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate Network Engineers in the Load Balancing product area.
Oversee operational responsibilities including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of F5 BIG-IP (LTM, DNS, AFM).
Act as Technical Lead during major incidents with 24/7 on-call availability.
Manage Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes, as well as Event and Capacity Management.
Plan, design, and optimize network architecture.
Install and configure network components.
Quality assurance and compliance
Must Haves:
F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or F5-CSE.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Experience in technical leadership and mentoring, particularly with nearshore teams.
Fluent in English; German is beneficial.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Ansible/Python.
Experience with CheckMK.
