Senior Platform Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes & Terraform)

This is a hands-on role where you will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, taking full ownership of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Build and optimise AWS infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) for scale and reliabilityOwn CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, implementing automated testing and deploymentsEmbed DevSecOps practices including security scanning, IAM controls, and secrets managementDevelop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation for repeatable environmentsEnhance observability through monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks


Profile
5+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering on AWSStrong programming skills in Python and/or Go, with solid Linux expertiseProven experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), GitLab CI/CD, and IaC toolsDeep understanding of cloud security, networking, and performance optimisationExperience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and distributed systems
