Senior Product Designer
Senior Product Designer
Both our founders write code, hold strong product opinions, and will fight you on the roadmap. Come with evidence and taste.
This is in-person in San Francisco, five days a week, and we ship new features weekly. There's no quarterly design cycle to hide inside. What you design this week is shipped next week.
Design authority here is earned and the title doesn't grant it. Our co founders are engineers who care about the product down to the interaction detail, and they will push back on your roadmap, your flows, and your Figma. The designer who wants a PM to hand down a spec and a founder to rubber-stamp the file will be miserable. The designer who shows up with the research, the prototype, and a clear argument for why this is right will win those debates, and love winning them.
If that sounds like a fight you want, you're the person we're looking for. You'll have more surface area, more trust, and more say over the product than you've probably ever had.
What we're building
Hyperbound is the Revenue Activation Platform, the agentic OS for sales. We invented AI sales roleplay, and we help enterprise sales teams ramp 50% faster by letting reps practice, measure, and scale the behaviors of their top performers. We don't just record what happens on a call, we change what happens next.
The proof: we've raised $18.3M, including a $15M Series A led by Peak XV Partners. We closed over $1M in new ARR two months in a row. Workday, LinkedIn, Bloomberg, and IBM trust us with their teams. We're growing from 15 to 30-plus this year, the category is exploding, and we're pouring gas on the fire.
The role
We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to help define what a category-defining product actually feels like to use. This is a high-craft IC role. You'll own design end to end for your projects, from early discovery to the pixels that ship, working directly with founders, product leaders, and engineers.
You'll design across the core platform, AI-driven coaching flows, and a multi-surface product that spans the web, analytics, simulations, and learning modules. A lot of the hardest, most interesting work lives in one place: taking raw transcripts, audio, and AI-generated scores and turning them into something a rep actually acts on.
What you'll own:
The full UI/UX process for your projects, from discovery through polished execution
Interfaces that turn transcripts, audio, and AI scoring into clear, trustworthy insight
Flows that let reps retry the exact moments they struggled with, based on AI-identified skill gaps
Interaction patterns for agentic workflows, where the AI suggests next actions, auto-generates simulations, or guides coaching
The balance between automation and control, so managers and reps understand why the AI is recommending what it recommends
Coherence across a complex multi-surface product, held together by one design system
What we're looking for: a strong IC with a portfolio that shows real interaction design, visual craft, and end-to-end thinking. You've spent roughly 3 to 5 years shipping fast and you're energized by it, not drained by it.
You know Figma deeply, including component systems, prototyping, and autolayout, and you hold a high bar on usability and accessibility.
You can hold your own in a room with founders and engineers, which, as noted, you'll be doing a lot.
Bonus if you've worked on AI, SaaS, or sales products, if you've been early at a startup or founded one, if you're fluent in design systems like Material, shadcn, or Tailwind UI, and if you're comfortable around a modern front-end workflow (React, Tailwind, component-driven development).
The team
You won't be the design team of one shouting into the void. You'll work day to day with Saswat, who leads product, and Andrew and Eugene, who are already deep in the design work, alongside founders who treat design as a first-class part of how the product wins, not a coat of paint at the end.
(we've doubled in size since this photo was taken)
The people who thrive here are opinionated but not precious. They'd rather ship something real and argue about it than protect a perfect Figma file nobody's used. They like customers, they like being wrong quickly, and they like that the person three feet away might be a founder who just rewrote the backend.
(we went to Bali after our Series A raise)
Ownership and equity
You own the outcome of your projects end to end. No PM layer to shield you when a design misses, and no process standing between you and the credit when it lands. You'll have meaningful early-employee equity, in the range below, at a stage where the work you do genuinely moves what that equity is worth.
Compensation and benefits
Salary: $180K to $210K
Equity: 0.04% to 0.08%
Medical, dental, and vision coverage
Unlimited PTO
In-office in SF with daily lunches, plus commuter and parking benefits
The interview process
A 30-minute recruiter screen with James, our Founding Recruiter
A 30-minute interview with Saswat (Product Lead) and Andrew (Product Designer)
A paid, one-day work trial in our SF office
