Senior Programme Manager

About the role

• Commit is looking for a Senior Programme Manager to lead complex technology programs while managing and developing a team of Project Managers.

This role combines program leadership, delivery, and people management. You’ll oversee multiple projects, work closely with technical teams and customers, and stay actively involved in execution — from planning and risk management to resolving challenges and driving successful delivery.

We’re looking for someone who can see the big picture, bring structure to complex environments, and get into the details when needed.

What you’ll do

• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, supporting their professional growth and day-to-day challenges.
• Lead complex, multi-team Programme from planning through delivery, with active involvement throughout execution.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and other technical stakeholders to drive execution and resolve challenges.
• Partner with customers and senior stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring successful delivery.
• Step in as a senior escalation point when projects face complex delivery or technical challenges.
• Track program health through delivery metrics, budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements

What you bring

• 7+ years of experience in Project Management, Programme Management, or Delivery Management within a technology environment.
• Experience managing Project Managers or leading a team of PMs.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-team software or technology projects.
• Strong execution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and ability to work effectively with technical teams.
• Experience working with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong skills in planning, prioritization, risk and dependency management.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Monday, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Experience in a software development services / consulting environment and a technical background are an advantage.
