About the company :
Established Grade A1 Main Contractor and Class 1 General Builder in Singapore, with more than eight decades of experience in the construction industry.
The company provides integrated construction services across both the public and private sectors and has delivered a diverse portfolio of large-scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional and infrastructure developments.
Job Responsibilities :
Lead the overall planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of assigned construction projects.
Manage project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and overall site performance to achieve project objectives.
Oversee and coordinate Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Technical Staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Liaise closely with clients, consultants, architects, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor construction progress and implement recovery plans where necessary to meet project milestones.
Review construction drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and construction methodologies.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, BCA regulations, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements, and company quality standards.
Conduct project meetings and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
Resolve technical, contractual, commercial, and operational issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive productivity, value engineering, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements :
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
Project Manager: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Singapore's building construction industry.
Senior Project Manager: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with proven leadership in delivering large-scale developments.
Proven experience with an A1 Main Contractor in Singapore.
Strong knowledge of project planning, construction methodology, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
