Senior Project Manager / Workstream Lead

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager / Workstream Lead to join one of the largest strategic transformation programmes within a global Payments organisation.

The business is undergoing a major global transformation, consolidating 18 regional platforms into one global solution supporting operations across 48 countries.

Your role

You will take ownership of complex transformation workstreams and coordinate delivery across business, technology and external implementation partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading major workstreams within a complex global transformation programme.

• Managing delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources and budgets.

• Coordinating business, technology and third-party implementation teams.

• Supporting the design and implementation of a new global operating model.

• Driving country migrations across multiple regions.

• Managing senior stakeholders across Cards, Payments, Technology and external vendors.

• Leading programme governance, RAID management and executive-level reporting.

• Supporting Agile delivery teams while maintaining programme-level oversight.

• Identifying delivery risks, resource gaps and cross-workstream dependencies.

• Ensuring pragmatic, outcome-focused delivery in a complex and highly regulated environment.

What we are looking for

• Extensive Project Management or Workstream Leadership experience.

• A strong track record of delivering large-scale strategic transformation programmes.

• Experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple business and technology stakeholders.

• Proven involvement in global platform consolidation, migration or implementation programmes.

• Strong operating model transformation and business change experience.

• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners.

• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery environments.

• Previous experience within Banking, Payments or another highly regulated Financial Services environment.
