Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems that support business objectives
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps
• Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in sprint planning and estimation activities
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Python and its core libraries
• Experience working with databases, including design and query optimization
• Practical knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development
• Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks for building applications
• Familiarity with Python web servers and deployment practices
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in software development
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and their practical application
• Experience implementing user authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Exposure to AI concepts and their application in software solutions
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Understanding of Microservice Architecture Style and its implementation in distributed systems
• Experience with Python testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure code quality
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies for structured software development processes
