Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable backend architecture aligned with company goals
- Review peer code submissions to uphold strong coding standards
- Work closely with various teams to gather and clarify technical needs
- Diagnose and fix intricate issues throughout the software stack
- Weigh in on architectural choices and long-term technical planning
- Guide and support less experienced developers on the team
- Fine-tune application speed and maintain overall system stability
- Produce readable, well-structured, and properly documented code
- Take part in sprint planning sessions and effort estimation
- Keep up to date with new technologies and evolving industry standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Solid command of Python along with its essential libraries
- Practical background in database design and query optimization
- Working experience with Git for tracking changes and team collaboration
- Direct experience building applications using Python web frameworks
- Understanding of Python web servers and how to deploy them effectively
- Firm grasp of security fundamentals and secure coding practices
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies and their real-world use
- Proven experience setting up user authentication and authorization systems
- Some exposure to AI concepts and their integration into software projects
- Solid written and verbal English communication at a B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Microservice Architecture Style and how it applies to distributed systems
- Practical experience with Python testing tools and approaches for quality assurance
- Awareness of SDLC methodologies to support organized development workflows
