Senior QA Engineer Back End
You plan, prepare, and maintain test cases and test documentation. You perform manual and automated back-end API testing with Postman and Swagger, participate throughout the release process, collaborate with developers and analysts on requirements, report and track defects, and optimize test cycle length.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and maintain test cases and test documentation
- Drive manual and automated API testing using Postman and Swagger
- Participate in all stages of the release process
- Gather information from the development team
- Report detected issues and track their resolution
- Collaborate with analysts and developers on feature requirements analysis
- Optimize the length of the test cycle
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on back-end and API testing experience
- Experience with Postman and Swagger
- Experience with testing methodologies
- Hands-on automated testing experience with JavaScript or Go
- Experience with back-end defect detection, documentation, and tracking
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and the SDLC
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
- Ability to identify quality and timeline risks
- Analytical and investigative problem-solving skills
- English for documentation
- Ukrainian or Russian for internal communication
