Senior Ruby Developer
Salary: $130,000 – $145,000 + xtra leave + dog leave
About the role
This role sits within the core software squad, you’ll work closely with product, engineering, and customer operations. You’ll be mainly tasked with writing clean code, conducting code reviews, but you’ll also mentor a small, talented small team of engineers.
About you
You’re a strong communicator, proactive and curious. You like working with others and are a team player. You enjoy solving customer problems and building empathy for the end user. You’re strong on the technical side, but you do also enjoy mentoring and leading other developers.
You’ll ideally have:
5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails
Proven track record with automated testing and strategy implementation
Experience mentoring or guiding software engineers
Background in a SaaS environment
Bonus points: Familiarity with AWS, Postgres, Docker, or React
