Senior Security Engineer

You will partner with the Head of Security to build, operate and scale a security program. You will secure product, infrastructure and operational systems, threat-model features and integrations, operate application security and detection tooling, triage vulnerabilities and incidents, drive remediation, and automate security workflows with AI and reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Threat-model new product features and integrations
• Harden systems with effective controls
• Operate and evolve the application security toolchain
• Operate security detection systems across EDR, SIEM, on-chain monitoring, identity and cloud environments
• Triage security alerts and reduce noise
• Triage vulnerability and bug-bounty findings
• Drive remediation and support incident response end to end
• Take security tooling and projects from evaluation through organization-wide rollout
• Automate vulnerability, AppSec, access review, SOC 2, audit evidence, vendor due diligence and reporting workflows with AI
• Build reusable AI components, Claude skills and agents

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience spanning product or application security and security operations
• Experience conducting technical security assessments of software and systems
• Experience with system hardening, security policy analysis and implementing effective controls
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience working with Claude Code, Codex or similar AI tools
• Hands-on experience applying AI and LLMs to automation and building reusable tooling
• Experience owning security projects from vendor selection through organization-wide rollout
• Experience securing high-value or high-throughput transaction systems
• Clear communication skills
• Crypto or blockchain security experience is a bonus
