Senior Software Architect / Technical Lead
About Revun
Revun is the software platform and infrastructure layer behind modern property operations. The platform brings together leasing workflows, maintenance workflows, payments, owner and vendor payouts, communications, compliance, reporting, AI automation, staff dashboards, tenant/owner/vendor portals, integrations, and multiple user roles into one connected operating system.
About the Role
The Senior Software Architect / Technical Lead will be responsible for evaluating the existing platform, improving architecture, managing remote developers, reviewing technical decisions, identifying risks, strengthening development processes, and helping move Revun toward a stable commercial launch.
This role requires strong technical judgment, hands-on architecture experience, developer accountability, and the ability to explain complex technical risks in clear business terms.
What You Will Do
Lead the technical architecture, audit, and launch readiness of Revun’s SaaS, CRM, AI, and property operations platform.
Review the existing codebase, backend, frontend, database, APIs, integrations, AI workflows, infrastructure, permissions, financial workflows, and development process.
Identify technical debt, weak architecture, security gaps, scalability risks, incomplete workflows, poor development practices, and launch blockers.
Manage remote engineering resources across backend, frontend, AI/automation, integrations, DevOps/cloud, QA, and security support.
Review developer progress, code quality, technical blockers, architecture decisions, tickets, QA issues, and launch-critical risks.
Improve CRM/workflow logic, including pipelines, statuses, tasks, notifications, reporting, audit history, and automation rules.
Strengthen role-based access control, protected APIs, document access, audit logs, permission testing, and least-privilege permissions.
Review financial workflow reliability, including payments, owner/vendor payouts, ledger activity, reconciliation, audit trails, and reporting.
Evaluate AI automation for accuracy, safety, monitoring, cost control, privacy, and measurable business value.
Improve third-party integration reliability through proper error handling, retries, webhooks, logging, monitoring, and failed-sync recovery.
Establish development standards, code review processes, QA expectations, deployment practices, documentation, and release controls.
Provide leadership with technical risk summaries, roadmap progress, developer performance insights, and launch-readiness updates.

Experience with integrations using APIs, webhooks, retries, queues, logging, monitoring, rate-limit handling, and failure recovery.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, deployment controls, QA processes, incident response, and launch readiness.
Ability to review code, challenge weak technical decisions, improve development standards, and communicate clearly with non-technical leadership.

Experience with platforms involving admins, staff, vendors, tenants, owners, Pro users, and external partners.
