Senior Software Engineer (Backend): FinCrime
You will join a small autonomous squad and help build seamless cross-border payments that blend both crypto and fiat currencies. You'll work closely with the product team to iterate quickly and deliver results, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders across the business. You'll be expected to form strong opinions and execute in a fast but sustainable way, always advocating for the simplest solution that achieves the outcomes customers need. You will develop future-proof products, focus on delivering quality code consistently, and contribute to shaping the engineering culture and standards of the team.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Backend Developer in a similar role, preferably in the FinTech industry
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience in building and maintaining APIs and services
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in a team
- Good understanding of financial services, particularly in banking, payments or crypto
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain is a plus
- Data-driven, using analytical skills to make pragmatic decisions
- Open to participate in out of hours on call rota
