Senior Software Engineer (Backend/REST)

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Project and environment:

• Develop scalable backend solutions for distributed IoT and industrial systems in cloud native environments.
• Build high performance services for reliable communication, data processing and integration supporting business critical applications, including sustainable heating and cooling solutions.
• Work with cross functional engineering teams and influence architecture and technical decisions.
• Participate in regular integration meetings.

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications in Rust.
• Build microservice based architectures and resilient distributed services.
• Implement event driven solutions with Apache Kafka and use Redis for caching and high performance data access.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA and DevOps through the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, reliability and scalability.

• At least 5 years of backend software development experience and commercial Rust experience.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Redis.
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

• IoT, industrial systems or edge computing experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with event driven architectures and message brokers beyond Kafka.
