Senior Software Engineer, Computer Use & Automation

Our team builds the underlying technologies that power UI Automation APIs, agentic computer use, and future testing technologies. We believe great tools are essential to shipping great products. As a member of this team, you will help shape tools used by millions of developers to do their best work.
We build tools to support the unique challenges of shipping Apple's diverse products at scale. We use this experience to build and ship tools for everyone developing on Apple's platforms to help them build incredible software. In this role you will:
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with building frameworks, systems, or other performance-sensitive software.
- Experience with native platform languages such as Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
- Experience with profiling, debugging, and optimizing native code.
- Experience with shipping and evolving APIs with strong compatibility guarantees.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing native testing or UI frameworks.
- Experience with agentic development or evaluating agentic tools/workflows.
- Experience with concurrency, IPC, or multi-process debugging.
- Experience working in large teams and codebases.
