Senior Software Engineer - Customer Interfaces

You will build customer-interface frameworks, AI-integrated guardrails, and component libraries; develop streaming multimodal interfaces; architect Java backend agentic workflows; enforce security policies; and operate reliable AI features for financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Build dynamic and agentic UI components in Vue or Preact
• Design Java services that orchestrate data pipelines and agentic workflows
• Set engineering standards
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews
• Architect security and policy enforcement layers
• Collaborate with Product Management on merchant workflows
• Monitor production performance
• Minimize streaming latency
• Lead root-cause analysis for incidents
• Build AI evaluation frameworks and observability layers
• Align global engineering teams on technical decisions

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Senior Software Engineer experience or equivalent
• Deep proficiency in Java for high-concurrency backend services
• Experience with Vue or Preact
• Experience with agentic AI integrations
• Knowledge of policy layers, evaluation frameworks, RAG architectures, and deterministic execution boundaries
• Security-by-design experience with sensitive financial data and authorization
• Experience with monorepo environments is advantageous
