Senior Software Engineer Product Security
You design and build production-grade security services, libraries, and frameworks. You manage vulnerability lifecycles, maintain vulnerability orchestration, automate detection and remediation workflows, develop security controls, consult with engineers, support incident response, and improve security awareness.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design, and develop security capabilities
- Own, maintain, and build the vulnerability management orchestration service
- Partner with product and engineering teams to build security controls
- Consult with product engineers on security standards
- Educate and support engineering teams
- Develop secure software and developer security integrations
- Design and maintain security-critical services and components
- Automate vulnerability detection, dependency management, and remediation workflows
- Replace manual security gates with engineered solutions
- Participate in incident response and security awareness initiatives
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling production services
- Architect and build systems meeting security, privacy, usability, scalability, and cost requirements
- Experience with vulnerability management, data encryption, key management, secret management, authentication, authorization, or security policy enforcement
- Experience designing distributed systems and microservices
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Passion for creating tools and libraries
- Passion for educating others about security and privacy
