Senior Software Engineer Risk

You architect and build scalable, robust, and performant risk solutions for institutional customers and internal teams. You develop and enhance risk management tools, infrastructure, data, and processes, collaborate with the risk team to improve the risk management stack, and coach teammates in supporting and maintaining these solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance risk management tools, infrastructure, data, and processes
• Architect and build scalable risk solutions
• Work with the risk team to improve the risk management stack
• Coach and mentor teammates on supporting and maintaining risk solutions

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, financial engineering, mathematics, physics, or an equivalent field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a quant risk role
• Experience with risk management in a hedge fund or bank trading environment
• Knowledge of financial products and derivatives asset classes
• Experience with software engineering, object-oriented design, and complex distributed architectures
• Comfort working with Linux and AWS environments
• Python programming experience
• Ability to partner with risk, product, and engineering teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
