Senior Software Engineer

You contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of a payment processing system. You build prototypes, develop production-quality code, collaborate on complex problems, and debug and verify defects in your own and others’ work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of a payment processing system
• Build rapid prototypes and work on fast-paced projects
• Convert existing prototypes into production-quality code
• Collaborate with staff to solve complex problems
• Debug and verify defects in your own and others’ work

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with modern web frameworks and writing REST APIs
• 5+ years of back-end software programming experience in Java
• Foundation in data structures and complex algorithms
• Experience designing systems that process large-scale structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with open source cloud and application platforms
• Experience developing applications for AWS, GCP, or Azure
