Senior Software Test Engineer (Manual+Automation)

Summary:

We're looking for a Full Stack QA Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a Manual QA with strong automation skills who is passionate about leveraging modern tooling and AI to drive quality. You will own both manual exploratory testing and automated regression suites for web and backend services. You'll work daily with a modern UI automation framework (such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar), design robust database validation strategies, and monitor application health using Grafana and Prometheus. You'll have the opportunity to integrate AI-assisted or agent-driven testing into our workflow to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual exploratory and regression testing on web applications and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using a modern UI automation tool (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent).
• Design, execute, and analyze automated test scripts for web UI, REST APIs, and database validation.
• Implement AI-assisted or agent-driven testing strategies to enhance test coverage and reduce maintenance overhead.
• Set up and utilize Grafana dashboards and Prometheus metrics to monitor application performance and identify potential issues from a QA perspective.
• Write complex SQL queries to perform back-end data validation, test data setup, and integrity checks.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners in weekly release cycles.
• Balance manual and automation efforts based on project needs and release timelines.

Qualifications:

• English B2+/C1 (clear verbal/written communication for client coordination).
• Manual testing experience: Strong understanding of test design techniques.
• Automation skills: Proficiency in at least one modern UI automation framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or equivalent).
• Strong hands-on test automation experience, including experience with AI-assisted or agent-driven testing.
• Practical experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and observability.
• Strong database and SQL knowledge (MySQL) for test data setup and result verification.
• Working knowledge of Git for version control.
• Flexible working hours, independent, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
• Relevant work experience in development and/or testing roles.
