Senior Solution Architect - Salesforce
We are looking for a strong Salesforce Architect to lead an engineering team and guide customer Technology Directors through the journey of migrating an in-house Loyalty Platform to Salesforce. This role calls for a Salesforce Solution Architect with hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Technical Architect within a Scrum team, contributing to the long-term vision and optimal use of Salesforce Loyalty Cloud in a large-scale hospitality implementation
- Design stay processing, partner transactions, hotel and partner reimbursement, vouchers, promotions, APIs, and integrations with legacy systems
- Apply real-world Loyalty Cloud experience to design and guide solution architecture decisions
- Drive delivery teams through all stages of implementation, from discussions with marketing teams on engagement strategy to reviewing data models, custom objects, and developer pull requests
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Head of Technology on the customer side, supporting validation of proposed solutions across teams
- Understand long-term customer objectives and help define a sustainable technology and implementation roadmap
Requirements
- 14 to 18 years of overall experience, with deep Salesforce expertise, ideally stronger than average platform specialists
- Strong understanding of system integrations, with experience in MuleSoft, Kafka, and Apigee, along with RESTful APIs, as the platform serves as a backend for the entire IHG ecosystem
- Hands-on leadership skills, with readiness to perform code reviews, guide technical estimations, and assist with solution design at any level
- Ability to move seamlessly between high-level architecture and detailed technical design, including data models, process flows, and code structure
- Consulting mindset, with capability to grasp business challenges, technical constraints, and ecosystem complexity, and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions
- Execution-driven approach, ensuring that solutions work in production, not just on paper
