Senior Solution Architects / Senior Cloud Engineer

FinXL is seeking experienced Senior Solution Architects / Senior Cloud Engineers to play a pivotal role in delivering complex application development and AI-driven cloud projects. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of public cloud environments (AWS or Azure) to support modern AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI services while aligning with strategic enterprise goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable greenfield and brownfield cloud infrastructure supporting AI, ML, and Generative AI platforms in AWS or Azure.
- Lead architectural strategy, gap analysis, functional landscapes, and migration pathways across software and service components.
- Embed secure-by-design principles, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and RBAC/IAM governance across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to create reusable design patterns and enforce governance.
- Drive technical innovation, mentor team members, manage change, and provide expert advisory to senior stakeholders.
Technical Skill & qualification:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer/Architect designing AWS or Azure public cloud environments.
- Demonstrated experience migrating and deploying cloud-based AI workloads, model integration, and platform architecture.
- Expertise in networking (VNets/VPCs, peering, NSGs, routing, hybrid connectivity) and governance tools (AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center).
- with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline), and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Demonstrated expertise across SFIA Level 5/6 criteria, including Solution Architecture, Systems/Software Design, Business Process Improvement, Innovation, Consultancy, and Stakeholder Relationship Management.
