Senior Staff Software Engineer
You will design and implement solutions for spot, futures, perpetual swaps, and options trading products. You will build core trading infrastructure, optimize performance for ultra-low latency and high availability, remove bottlenecks in C++, guide engineers through technical reviews and mentoring, and design resilient systems with monitoring, incident response, and post-mortem practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions for trading products
- Build core trading platform infrastructure and architecture
- Optimize trading architecture for latency, availability, and scalability
- Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks
- Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers
- Design fault-tolerant systems
- Drive monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-mortem practices
- Translate strategic business needs into scalable technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience designing, building, and operating high-performance ultra-low-latency distributed systems in C++
- Experience in financial services or trading
- Excellent C/C++ programming and software design skills
- Experience with debugging, performance analysis, and test design
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
- Understanding of networking and I/O on Linux
- Familiarity with Linux performance optimization techniques and tools
