Senior Staff Technical Program Manager
You will lead Ripple’s post-quantum cryptography migration program from cryptographic asset inventory through risk prioritization and execution. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, develop technical decision-making frameworks, manage testing and release dependencies, communicate program status and risks to leadership, and build dashboards tracking migration progress and readiness.
Responsibilities
- Drive Ripple’s post-quantum cryptography program from cryptographic asset inventory through migration execution
- Establish and own a cross-organizational post-quantum cryptography working group
- Align vendors and partners on compatible post-quantum cryptography roadmaps
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks and obstacles
- Communicate program status, risks, and progress to engineering leadership and executive sponsors
- Maintain the program dashboard reviewed monthly by executives
- Create technical frameworks for engineering decision-making
- Improve Operational Excellence processes across the organization
- Align program managers, product managers, and engineering managers across multiple partners
- Coordinate testing and release dependencies across engineering teams
- Build migration-progress, risk-register, and readiness dashboards
Requirements
- 10+ years of program management experience in sophisticated enterprise technology environments
- Understanding of cryptographic fundamentals including asymmetric ciphers, symmetric ciphers, hashing, and digital signatures
- Experience using data and analytics to assess project and system trends
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally, build consensus, influence without authority, negotiate, and work in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Proficiency in Google Sheets
- Experience crafting or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience in payments, custody, stablecoin, and/or blockchain ecosystems
