Position Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for the sourcing, procurement, and supply planning activities supporting GT Medical’s GammaTile manufacturing operations. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this individual owns strategic sourcing and supplier management, day-to-day purchasing, demand and supply planning, and administration of the ERP system that underpins these processes. The role partners closely with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and R&D to build a resilient and scalable supply base as the company grows, while driving cost savings, supply continuity, and continuous improvement across the full source-to-pay and plan-to-produce cycle.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage procurement from requisition through delivery to ensure timely supply to production.
- Lead category sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid analysis, and negotiations to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in partnership with Quality and Engineering, including risk and capability assessments and additions to the Approved Supplier List.
- Drive year-over-year cost savings and value improvement through negotiation, should-cost analysis, supplier consolidation, and material or specification optimization; track and report realized savings.
- Own supplier relationship management - lead business reviews, monitor scorecards for quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Negotiate and maintain supply agreements, pricing schedules, and payment terms; partner with Quality and Legal on quality agreements, contracts, and NDAs.
- Manage second-source and alternate-material qualification projects, working cross-functionally to reduce single-source and supply-continuity risk within resource, time, and cost constraints.
- Own demand and supply planning by analyzing forecasts, maintaining ERP planning parameters, and converting production plans into purchasing and replenishment actions.
- Manage inventory to target levels - balancing service level, cash, and obsolescence risk - and drive improvements in inventory turns and working capital.
- Monitor open orders and MRP signals, expedite or de-expedite as needed, and proactively resolve shortages, past-dues, and supply disruptions to protect the build schedule.
- Support the SIOP and production-planning process by reconciling demand, supply, and capacity and by surfacing risks and mitigation options to leadership.
- Serve as ERP super-user/administrator for Operations - maintaining item master, supplier, pricing, and BOM data, configuring workflows, running MRP, and safeguarding data integrity.
- Own ERP production-order transactions from issuance through fulfillment, maintain shipping and receiving records, and coordinate outbound sterilization shipments.
- Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and KPIs (spend, savings, supplier performance, inventory, and OTIF) to enable data-driven decisions.
- Partner with R&D, Operations, and Quality on new product introductions, supplier selection, material readiness, and ERP/MES system implementation and training.
- Maintain purchasing, planning, and SOP documentation in compliance with company standards and ISO 13485 while applying Lean principles to improve source-to-pay and plan-to-produce processes.
- Embodies GT’s purpose and shared values, building a positive and productive team culture.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Authorized to access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
