Senior Supply Chain Manager
Yandex is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end SCM for smart AI-powered devices and drive BOM optimization, strategic sourcing, and risk mitigation. You will validate and audit BOMs during the development phase and conduct cost reviews to ensure pricing competitiveness and alignment with market standards. You will also drive cost reduction initiatives across the entire lifecycle, from NPI and launch to mass production and EOL, while implementing second-source strategies to improve supply resilience. Sourcing and supplier development
You will identify and onboard new suppliers and specific part numbers aligned with R&D requirements. You will also build strong vendor relationships, lead supplier audits, and ensure that quality, compliance, and performance standards are met. Stakeholder and partner management
You will manage relationships with ODM/JDM partners, lead regular supply planning meetings, and hold partners accountable for deliverables. Working cross-functionally with R&D and project teams, you will resolve material-related issues and lead negotiations to secure cost improvements and process compliance. Risk management and solution engineering
You will proactively identify supply risks related to material availability, lead times, and EOL exposure. You will also develop mitigation strategies, manage crisis situations, prioritize deliveries, and provide scenario-based reporting to senior leadership on launch, budget, and schedule impacts.* Have 5+ years of supply chain management experience in consumer electronics * Have deep understanding of the product lifecycle, from NPI to mass production * Have solid knowledge of electronic components (SoC, WiFi/BT, DDR, NAND/EMMC) and mechanical design * Have strong market pricing awareness for standard electronic components * Have proven experience working with ODM/JDM partners * Have strong negotiation and supplier management skills * Have HSK 5+ (or equivalent) Chinese proficiency for negotiations and daily operations * Have fluent English (C1) for international collaboration * Are based in Shenzhen
